Cybermatter is a type of energy power formed from the mixture of Synthetic Energon and CNA (Cyber Nucleic Acid). Constructed by Ratchet, Knock Out and Shockwave on the Nemesis, the Cybermatter was used to revive the Transformers' home planet of Cybertron. The Omega Lock needed this cybermatter in order to rebuild the planet. The Decepticons planned to use the cybermatter to cyberform Earth, harming the Human race, while the Autobots wanted to revive Cybertron so they could return to their home planet after centuries of civil war. During the Autobots' final assault on the Nemesis, Megatron shot Bumblebee three times, killing him. But soon after Bumblebee sank into the pool of cybermatter, he returned, fully operational and functional again and regaining his voice box in the process. The cybermatter, like the AllSpark, can heal a Cybertronian from any wounds, even if they are offline. Shortly after the battle, the Autobots returned to Cybertron to revive the planet, using the remaining cybermatter, so that Cybertron could once again support life on the surface of the planet.
