The youngest member of the Hazard Mini-Con Team, Impulsor lives up to his name. He's always itching and eager for action, and tends to act before he thinks. He's very much the polar opposite personality to his teammate Quench, but despite this they seem to get along very well.

Impulsor's Mini-Con Storage Panel was one of several that were stored within Redline's chest compartment. Before Redline underwent the Master Key process to unlock his full potential, he entrusted the remaining two panels he held to Stella Holley. When the Unicron minion Ravenus attacked and made off with Twirl, Stella activated the two panels, realizing they needed more help, releasing Impulsor and his teammate Quench.

The Hazard Team reunited, they faced off against the forces of their creator Unicron high over Cybertron, presumably helping form the gigantic Mini-Con-powered "anti" Unicron. Impulsor's final fate is unknown, but it's highly likely he's okay.

: A redeco of the Emergency Mini-Con Team member Makeshift, Impulsor transforms into a twin-rotor helicopter similar to an Osprey. He also has a third weapon mode, forming a "gatling" cannon with twin rotating barrels. He was only available with Volume Twelve of the Micron Legend (the Japanese name for Armada) DVD series.

Synopsis

As Thunderwing speeds through hyperspace toward Cybertron, Optimus Prime and the Wreckers frantically prepare for his arrival. They're not the only ones; under Megatron's orders, the Predacons onboard the Decepticon warship Thanatos prepare to bombard Cybertron from orbit in order to destroy Thunderwing once and for all, though Razorclaw harbours reservations. As the Autobots engage Thunderwing, Razorclaw orders Divebomb to take a group of Decepticons and fight alongside the Wreckers.

Jetfire finally uncovers an item in Bludgeon's files; if Thunderwing is subjected to a massive assault, he will drain his supply of Ultra Energon ever faster. Dogfight reprograms Bludgeon's remaining Centurion drones (of which there are many), adding to the combined Transformers' firepower. As the drones are destroyed and Rampage orders his Decepticons back, Optimus Prime moves in, blasting Thunderwing until he runs out of Energon. Rampage cancels his warship's bombing run.

Returning to the Autobot command hub onboard Ark-27, Optimus receives a communique from Jetfire, who has uncovered further information in Bludgeon's files - a Decepticon plan involving a planet called Earth. Connecting this information with the update he received from Prowl's unit, Prime orders a change of course...
