Uh... When did people use "mouthplate"? It covers his face, not just his mouth, hence the usually used "faceplate". And "woobers"? "Woobers"? --MCRG 04:02, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

Those are the only two uses of *plate in the G1 cartoon series. Given the context, it seems to be a TF word for "face" rather than a mouth-guard...
